The biggest tournament of the summer ESL One Cologne is just a few days away. Beginning on the 18th of this month, every CS:GO organization is doing its optimum best to have an edge over the other organizations. Due to the corona pandemic, the tournament has been shifted to an online platform. FaZe Clan has just announced a change in its roster. FaZe Clan took to Twitter to announce that they have made a change in their roster, bringing in a 22-year-old. CS:GO: A New Signing
Kjaerbye spent most of his time after leaving North in free agency going through his options. He was announced as the 5th payer of FaZe Clan earlier today and would be replacing Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras. Bymas was signed by FaZe Clan after an impressive show of performance. However, he failed to replicate and has been signed by Mousesports as a ‘development player’. He might not replace any member on the squad but would definitely function as a first choice substitute.
Kjaerbye is not averse to the pressure of being in a world-class team having played for Astralis in 2017. He was part of a squad that won ELEAGUE Atlanta Major in January 2017. But, he transferred to North in 2018 that came as a shock. North has had a shaky couple of years but Kjaerbye functioned as their main player. He has averaged a rating of 1.08 according to HLTV’s statistics.

There are only a handful of days remaining until ESL One Cologne. That doesn’t give Kjaerbye a lot of time to settle down and understand the chemistry of the team. Europe is a tough division and FaZe Clan will be put to test immediately. Kjaerbye has been inactive not having played for a couple of months due to health reasons. He did not say much about his addition to the roster but was welcomed by the other members of the roster via Twitter posts. ESL One Cologne is set to begin on the 18th and would conclude on the 30th.
