Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has seen a lot of changes these past few months. We have kept Valve busy with regular expectations. And why not? The game is not perfect. However, it is one of the most popular games out there right now. There have been a lot of recent developments. Jacob “Pimp” Winneche is a Danish professional CSGO analyst. He retired from gaming in 2018.
He took to Twitter recently to inform the world that he is retiring from the competitive CSGO altogether and wants to spend his time working as a content creator, which makes him happy.

CSGO: From a Player to an Analyst
After leaving his playing days behind, Jacob “Pimp” Winneche spent his time as an analyst for various events. However, he confesses that he misses the art of content creation and would like to dedicate more of his time to his stream. The member of Team Liquid, who has been streaming on and off for a few years now, decided to go all-in owing to the amount of support he has seen from the community.
“The support has been massive and therefore, I’ve decided to go full time on creating content for the CS:GO community,” Pimp said. “That does not mean I won’t be working as an analyst anymore, that just means that I’ll work both and dedicate even more time to CS:GO.”
I officially retire as a professional CS:GO player.
I’m a professional CS:GO content creator.
They say you can’t stream CS:GO full time, it’s over saturated with tournaments.
While there’s some truth to that statement, I simply can’t see why both ain’t possible.

Over-saturated with Tournaments
He was busy working as an analyst for DreamHack and DanishTV2 events but still managed to stream for 50 days in a row. He has gradually gained a lot of popularity crossing 275,000 followers. While he enjoys streaming and would like to spend more of his time there, he does say that he loves the job of an analyst too. So, we can expect him to play both the roles in full stride.
While both the roles require a lot of work and a lot more dedication, he thinks that he can do justice to both.
