AdreN, GuardiaN, Dosia teams up for CS: GO

As reported by HLTV, Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács, Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev and Mihail “Dosia” Stolyarov will be teaming up for the CIS division. The team named as OldG will look to qualify for the CIS region. The roster’s name seems a bit different and veteran-like, and probably, that’s what we could expect as well. GuardiaN himself announced the news on his Twitter handle.

Three legends of the game coming together is a rare sight. CIS Qualifiers could see the new OldG tear opponents apart. They would be looking to qualify through the third Fall RMR ( Regional Major Ranking) of the CIS region.

The format to qualify under the CIS region is listed below:

Group stages:
2x Double Elimination group of 6
Top 3 advance
Playoffs:
Single Elimination
ESL CS: GO Major Participation:
2x teams: Legends stage
1x team: Challengers stage
2x teams: Contenders stage

What to expect?

GuardiaN was subjected to heat for a pretty long time. His time at NaVi was anything but sweet. The CS: GO community was split between him and Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev.

For some reason, his performances fell down in terms of expectations. This in turn left NaVi with no choice but to bench GuardiaN.

Dosia too has hard a hard time in the Esports scene. After leaving Gambit, he has been part of some mediocre teams and hasn’t made much of an impression. With the new OldG roster, he’d looking to recapture the fame and worth he once boasted.

AdreN too has been part of the same Gambit Esports organization. He has even been a part of FaZe and had a recent stint with Virtus.pro.

Žygimantas “nukkye” Chmieliauskas, a former HellRaiser’s member and Alexander “lamp” Noviy will be joining OldG as the 4th and 5th member of the roster.

Although, we can’t judge the chances the new roster has, we could expect them to pull off something surprising.
