Astralis had a great run in the ESL Pro League 12, pulling off a stunner against Na’Vi to win the tournament. Patrick “es3tag” Hensen was part of this roster and he played a vital role in the team’s victory. The CS: GO professional delivered a stunning 1v3 clutch in the finals as if it were a piece of cake.

Es3tag will join Cloud9’s CS: GO roster after Dream Hack Open Fall
Es3tag had joined Astralis on a free transfer, and the player achieved new heights with the organization. He had an impressive 1.12 rating over 36 maps. This transfer comes ahead of the last months of the 2020 season, as Cloud9 looks to complete its roster.
After the transfer, he will be a part of the Cloud9 roster alongside Alex ”ALEX” McMeekin, William “mezzi” Meriiman, Ozgur “woxic” Eker, Ricky “floppy“ Kemery. The roster will most probably play Betway Nine to Five 5 and Flashpoint 2 in October and November, respectively.
Astralis recently tweeted about es3tag’s transfer. It will be effective after the DH Open Fall, and the organization will look forward to finishing this adventure in proper fashion.

“I am proud to represent Astralis, I love the fans and I never for a second thought, I would move on to a different team this early. I just won my first big title and I truly enjoy working with all the guys on and around the team. Over the past 6 months, I have grown as a person and a player, and I owe a lot to the organization.”
However, the player is very confident about Cloud9’s future in CS: GO and accepts the new challenge in his career. Kasper Hvidt, Director of Sports at Astralis Group, seems equally satisfied with the transfer.
“Ultimately, we are working towards a full 2-team roster with 10 players like the way we work in League of Legends. This is something we will present at a later stage, right now, I just want to thank Patrick for his time and hard work and wish him the best of luck.”

Both Cloud9 and Astralis have refused to share any financial details about the agreement. The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive community loves es3tag because of his brilliant gameplay and a down-to-earth persona. He is already an ESL Pro League winner and will be looking forward to adding more titles to his name with his new team. The CS: GO professional is an asset for any organization he joins, and we wish him success in his Cloud9 journey.
