Zidane won’t be interested in Manchester United

According to UtdDistrict on Twitter, reports emerged that Zidane is not willing to take up the job as of right now. He wants to wait for the right opportunity and United are not on his wishlist. The former Real Madrid manager is one of the best in the world. Significantly, he led Real Madrid to an unprecedented Champions League three-peat.

Moreover, he has a good relationship with Ronaldo with whom Zidane has won many trophies. During his time at Madrid, Zidane won three Champions League trophies, two La Liga titles, and two Club World Cups. Likewise, he won two European Supercup titles, adding to his impressive resume.

However, Manchester United are in real trouble right now after heavy losses to Leicester City and Liverpool. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under massive pressure to change things around.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under real pressure

The most recent reports suggest that Ole will be given some more time by the United hierarchy to make a difference. A loss in their next Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur would probably be the end of Solskjaer’s stint at United.

With Zidane out of question, other managers can come in and make a difference. Former Inter Milan and Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte, is believed to be interested in the prospect of managing United. He left Inter Milan last season after winning the Serie A title.

United’s form this season has not been acceptable. Although they won two of their Champions League matches courtesy of last-minute winners from Cristiano Ronaldo, United’s performances left much to be desired. When compared to top teams like Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City, there seems to be a gulf in quality.

Thus, Ronaldo’s arrival did not provide the shining light they needed. United is in real trouble right now and it will take a miracle for Ole to save his job.
