The Australian travel rules are changing frequently. The latest change includes that any national requiring to acquire professional security advice prior to travel. This rule is going to make pre-planning of any itinerary difficult.

According to Aaron Finch, this rule will make it very difficult for anyone to plan their travels. Now, the rules are changing frequently. There’s no saying what the next amendment to the policies will be. Hence, this possibility will become an obstacle for anyone trying to plan for future travels.

We’ve never seen anything like this. That (travel advice) has changed over the last couple of hours. That could change in two weeks or three weeks, it’s hard to plan anything.

On the other hand, the limited-overs captain did mention that all of these decisions are for safety. The primary objective is to ensure any national travelling outside the country remains safe. The Coronavirus is spreading at an alarming rate. Currently, the idea of social-distancing is becoming increasingly popular. However, the Government needs to have other policies in place.

It is highly possible Australian players will not participate in IPL 2020

This policy is a leap towards confirmation that Australian players will most probably not participate in IPL 2020. Even though the event is most likely to be cancelled. Not only is the Australian Government taking measures, but also the Indian Government. The Indian Government is already refusing to issue visas to foreign nationals. Foreign players travel to India with a business category visa. Hence, no visa will be granted to any foreign national at least until 15th April, 2020.
