The rising threat of Coronavirus in India is resulting in a 21-day lockdown of the nation. While staying at home for a period of 3 weeks seem impossible, this is the only way to stop the spread. The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, made this announcement on 24th March. Now, Indian Cricket team captain, Virat Kohli, shares a video asking all citizens to do their share.
In the video, Virat Kohli and his wife, Anushka Sharma, are seen addressing the audience together. Two of them express their concerns over the rising numbers in India. They urge the citizens to understand the gravity of the situation and act responsibly.
In fact, they say that coming to the streets and creating a chaos is not the solution to defeat the virus. Right now, the primary action is to stay at home. Staying home for 21-days is the only way to protect oneself, their families, and the nation.

Furthermore, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma talk about the importance of self-isolation. They try to explain why this 21-day period of lockdown is a necessary step. If this protocol is not followed by everyone, then India will enter stage 3. Controlling the virus from stage 3 will become extremely difficult.

Right now, there is no possible way to predict a date for the removal of the lockdown. Fortunately, if everyone follows the procedure of complete isolation in their homes, then the lockdown will be lifted from 15th April. If this does happen, then there is a good chance of Indian Premier League 2020 will commence as per the rescheduled dates.
