As there is no treatment or vaccine available for the virus, lockdown is the only solution to stop the further transmission of this deadly virus. Therefore, the central government has imposed a lockdown of 21 days in the country.?
The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League has also been suspended till April 15. The league was scheduled to start on March 29. However, it seems unlikely that IPL 2020 will begin any time soon. Therefore, BCCI has been considering the option of conducting the IPL later this year.?

The left-handed batsman recently made headlines by donating a handsome amount of Rs. 52 lakhs to fight against novel coronavirus. The virus has now affected more than 4400 people in India while nearly 110 have lost their lives.?

Suresh Raina donated Rs 31 lakhs to Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situation Fund (PM-CARES Fund ). Further, he donated Rs 21 lakh to UP CM?s Disaster Relief Fund.?
