It is probable that Indian cricketer S. Sreesanth will be making a comeback to the field following his ban of 7 years.
KCA all set to bring S. Sreesanth to the state Rajni team in September
The Kerala Cricket Association is ready to let the Indian player back on-field for the state Ranji cricket team once his ban ends in September 2020. However, this will only be possible if Sreesanth can prove his fitness to KCA.

In May 2013, three players from IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals were arrested with the charge of spot-fixing. Those were Sreesanth, Ajit Chandilia, and Ankit Chavan. Due to this, the BCCI had imposed a lifetime ban on him. In the year 2015, after battling for two years, the Delhi Court acquitted Sreesanth of all charges.

The player’s seven years ban ends in 2020
In the year 2018, The Kerala High Court was against BCCI’s decision of imposing a lifetime ban on Sreesanth. Unfortunately for him, the Supreme Court upheld the charges, but asked BCCI to reduce the ban period. As a result, BCCI imposed a seven year ban on him. This period will come to an end in September 2020.
S. Sreesanth said that he is highly grateful to KCA for trusting him with this. He is ready to prove his fitness and get back on-field. He believes that it is time all controversies come to an end.
“I am really indebted to the KCA for giving me a chance. I will prove my fitness and storm back to the game. It is time for all controversies to take rest.”

Kerala Cricket Association’s secretary, Sreeith Nair, is of the opinion that the he will be an asset to the team.
S. Sreesanth was most known for his antics on-field. However, as a bowler his achievements include 87 wickets in 27 Test matches and 75 wickets in ODIs. On top of that, he was a part of the national squad that won the ICC World Cup in 2011.
