MS Dhoni had achieved unprecedented success as a captain for the Indian cricket team. MS is also one of the best finishers to embrace the modern game of cricket.

Recently, the veteran England cricketer Kevin Pietersen lauded MS Dhoni for his phenomenal leadership skills.

Kevin said, “It will be very difficult just with the weight of expectation to go against MS Dhoni because of what everybody expects from him, how he has to live his life and what he has been through captaining India and then captaining the CSK,” 

The former Indian captain was last seen on the match field in the semi-final match of World Cup 2019. He was all set to play the role of skipper for CSK in IPL 2020 but the tournament has been suspended indefinitely due to the coronavirus outbreak. 

Kevin Pietersen’s hilarious caption for MS Dhoni

Kevin Pietersen has been very active on social media. He often posts throwback pictures with different cricketers on his social media accounts. 

On Saturday (April 18), he remembered his days playing against India when Dhoni was the captain. Pietersen shared a throwback picture with MS where the two can be discussing something with each other. 

However, the thing that attracted the netizens towards this post is the caption. The England superstar uploaded the picture with a hilarious caption that left fans in splits. 

His post read, “Hey, MSD, why don’t you put a fielder over there for me? Scoring runs against you guys is so easy…!”

The IPL franchise Chennai Super kings decided to answer the former batsman on behalf of their skipper MS Dhoni. 

The twitter handle of CSK posted a pic of MS stumping Kevin with the caption, “But sometimes you don’t need fielders!”
