When it’s about Tendulkar and McGarth, he says that it’s more “war of attribution”. Hogg says that the rivalry between Tendulkar and McGarth always involved the Australian pacer trying to emerge victorious in the game of patience. Therefore, indulging in this rivalry always meant that one is in it for the long haul. McGarth’s record includes 563 Test wickets and 381 ODI wickets. Within these, he has dismissed Sachin Tendulkar 13 times in International Cricket.

On the other hand, Brad Hogg talks about the Tendulkar and Akhtar rivalry. Hogg says that this rivalry is more inclined towards the erratic side. Hence, the Pakistan bowler always aimed at dismissing the Indian batsman with pace. On top of that, he says that it includes the India Vs Pakistan angle as well. Hence, this adds more spice to the rivalry.

“Plus, it’s India vs Pakistan, which adds a little more spice to the contest.”

Now, Shoaib Akhtar’s records include 178 Test wickets and 247 ODI wickets. Within these, he has dismissed Sachin Tendulkar a total of 8 times in International Cricket.
