Counter Strike Global Offensive has again come up with new maps, and the very controversial Trusted Mode is getting some more updates after players repeatedly called the devs out for not paying enough attention to hackers/cheaters.
Here’s the official tweet from CS: GO on the new updates.
Today we have a number of updates. Chlorine and Jungle have been removed from official matchmaking and Mutiny and Swamp have been added. This and updates to Trusted Mode, Decoy grenades, and more can be found in today's Release Notes: https://t.co/1TclOYr2d6

New Maps in Counter Strike Global Offensive
The new maps, Mutiny and Swamp, have been added to the official matchmaking replacing Jungle and Chlorine in the popular game modes of Casual, TDM, and Scrimmage.
Swamp is an overall open map that features swampy waters at intervals, forcing players to slow down and tread carefully so as not to alert the enemy. It will probably be one of the faster maps leading to quick gunfights and a lot of adrenaline rush. Swamp has gathered a lot of attention for its picturesque settings and the community has been vocal about it.
Here’s what Don Haci tweeted:
Been 2 minutes on Swamp and I have seen enough
it's ready to replace Mirage 💯

Mutiny, on the other hand, is one of the larger maps in CS:GO, set on a seashore town, demanding a lower paced tactical gameplay. One of the first things to catch one’s eye on the map would be the shipwrecks. The terrorists start from a docked pirate ship that actually features a plank to the sea! It even features a sawmill and a room in ruins with paintings on the wall.

Trusted Mode and other gameplay updates
Here’s what Counter Strike Global Offensive featured in their website about the update:
[ TRUSTED MODE ]
– Trusted Mode is now the default launch mode for CS:GO.
— Previous Trusted Mode launch options have been deprecated.
— Instead, a new compatibility launch option “-allow_third_party_software” is provided to allow third party software to access the CS:GO game process.

If you hear a sigh of relief, it is from the players who were unable to use Streamlabs or OBS. The update allows you to switch between permissions for third-party software. However, it still may or may not somehow affect your ‘trust factor.’
The other updates include the decoy grenade not being able to harm teammates and therefore the spoilsports have been taught a lesson, period.
Let’s end with what one might call a silent giggle.
