Towards the end of March, Counter Strike Global Offensive team MiBR made a surprise announcement. They had made the decision to part ways with their coach Wilton “zews” Prado. After less than a month since then, zews may already be on his way to another coaching job. The Brazilian is a former professional player himself.
The website dbltap.com reports zews, is in talks with Evil Geniuses to be the new head coach.
Evil Geniuses themselves parted ways with their coach Chet “ImAPet” Singh a few days ago. According to ImAPet’s statement, his relationship with players stanislaw and tarik was quite poor and it could not continue any longer.

After a superb stint with Luminosity Gaming, where he won multiple events, zews moved on to Team Liquid.
Having spent more than two years with Team Liquid between 2016 and 2018, zews led his team to a few big wins like the ESL Pro League Season 7 North America and the SuperNova Malta 2018. He then moved back to MiBR, where the team generally struggled to show any dominance.
As toxic as the environment may have been in the team, Evil Geniuses have managed to tie for the top spot of the ESL Pro League Season 11. Meaning they will feature in the play-offs, where they will face Team Liquid.

Incidentally, Team Liquid has already defeated Evil Geniuses in the regular season. We could very well see EL lineup with zews as their coach in the play-offs. While there is no official word yet on the possibility, zews and EL did practice together yesterday.
The Brazilian coach could very well prove to be exactly what EL need as they get ready to battle it out with Team Liquid.
