Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev is one of the finest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players, but also has his share of controversies. The Ukrainian has received his fourth ban by Twitch, possibly because he was overly aggressive towards another player.
Twitch bans are far from a rare phenomenon. The most infamous incident is that of Dr. Disrespect, who was recently permanently banned by Twitch. The streaming platform is known for banning its streamers, but isn’t always the most forthcoming when it comes to stating the reasons behind it. The Doc ban is a prime example of this.
S1mple previous three bans had come as a direct result of aggressive behavior and for allegedly using Russian homophobic slurs. This time around, Twitch has provided no clarification for the ban, but s1mple posted on Twitter addressing the issue and hinting towards a plausible reason for it.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive: S1mple faces yet another ban
S1mple suggests that Twitch banned him for being aggressive towards someone who used the term ‘pidor’, which an offensive Russian term.
It’s funny that I get banned for aggression towards a person that says the word "Pidor" and specifically tries to ban me on the platform and I try to condemn him for this and say the forbidden word because I have a negative attitude towards it (because of rules)

His last ban came in July this year when Twitch banned him and his former teammate Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko. No reason was provided then either. But both players had received bans in the past for their language, which that also goes against Twitch’s behavioral policies. However, s1mple’s message suggests that he wasn’t at fault.
He shared his dissatisfaction with the fact that a person had used a derogatory term against him, but it was he who had to face a ban.
S1mple has previously shared his dismay over Twitch’s policies and not giving a valid reason for its disciplinary actions.
