Recent reports suggest that 100 Thieves Counter-Strike: Global Offensive coach might make a move to Valorant. Chet “ImAPet” Singh is reportedly exploring his options and will leave 100 Thieves if a move materializes.
Chet joined 100 Thieves in May, replacing Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović. But 100 Thieves haven’t enjoyed a lot of success since then. They have struggled in North American tournaments, their best result being a third-place finish at DreamHack Masters Spring 2020.

Counter Strike-Global Offensive: Another pro making a move to Valorant?
Chet has been a coach in the competitive Counter-Strike-Global Offensive scene since 2016. His portfolio includes a number of high profile teams that he has coached. Chet had guided Evil Geniuses to victory at the ESL One: New York. However, he stepped down soon after due to internal reasons. Subsequently, 100 Thieves appointed the coach. He replaced ‘kassad’, who is now the head coach of Cloud9.
Chet’s tenure at 100 Thieves has not been as successful as he would’ve hoped. The team has struggled to challenge the best teams in North America. Thus, a shift to Valorant might be an appealing one for Chet.
100 Thieves’ Valorant roster is full of players who made the shift from CS:GO. The roster consists of Hiko, nitr0, and Josh “steel” Nissan (who was recently appointed). All three players have been IGL’s at some point in their careers and may decide to not work with a coach immediately.
Teams in both the competitive IP’s are undergoing a massive change to prepare for the upcoming tournaments. With the kind of experience that Chet has, he could be an asset for any Valorant team looking to make an impact.
Announcing the newest addition to our VALORANT roster: Steel.@JoshNissan is an incredibly skilled & talented player from the Counter-Strike scene. We’re so excited to start a new chapter of his competitive career with him in VALORANT. Welcome to 100 Thieves! #100T pic.twitter.com/qZyGKhnZG4
