The Faceit Pro League is a place where semi-professional gamers duke it out to get recognition. Many professional players take to it in their free time as well. A very useful platform, FPL allows aspiring gamers to compare their skillset to professional gamers as well. Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, a professional Counter Strike Global Offensive player, has announced that he and some others are working on creating another hub on Faceit.
Counter Strike Global Offensive pros want to relax and enjoy
Professional eSports players put in many hours of practice into their respective games on a daily basis. So how do these pros unwind at the end of the day? Well, many simply play some more, but this time to unwind and have fun.

And the Faceit platform is a good way of them to do exactly this. However, it can sometimes be the exact opposite of relaxing and even get on their nerves. There is a good reason behind this too.
Many of the semi-pros on Faceit are very serious about their games. Their primary objective is to either get noticed by the professional teams or win the prize money tournaments.
While you cannot blame them, it can prove to be a nuisance for the pros since they are more interested in relaxing and having fun.
Take a look at Nathan “NBK” Schmitt’s open letter outlining exactly why it can be troublesome for the pros, and dev1ce had a say on it too.
One of the points I feel like he hits the mark perfect with is that we practice so much and therefore when we play fpl we try to have a little bit of fun – Unfortunately it's not entertaining for a lot of pros anymore since it has changed into "Elite fpl-c" as u said

Here is the full letter.
Unlike the pros there, they do not want to simply have fun. Hence, s1mple and Nikola “NiKo” Kovač and a few others have come up with the idea of creating a new hub on Faceit, where they can simply have some fun along with other pros and streamers.
We discussed this with @fazeniko already, soon we gonna create extra hub on faceit with only PRO players and entertainment streamers for more interesting/fun games without any prize pool

Great question, all pro of this hub will vote for adding/removing players, not like many years ago with a consul of 5 players who decide everything pic.twitter.com/EB8JlN85cd

As you can gather from simple’s reply above, a council of 5 players made all executive decisions before. This time around, however, s1mple has assured everyone that all the pros in the new hub will vote on adding or removing of a particular player.
Natus Vincere, s1mple’s Cs: GO team, lost to Fnatic in the ESL Pro League yesterday. It looks like s1mple will have plenty of time now to play on the Faceit hub.
