Conor McGregor just revealed who he wants to fight next. The former lightweight and featherweight champion, Conor McGregor might just have called out the same fighter in a subtle manner.

Not so long ago, Nate Diaz made his much-anticipated return to UFC octagon to fight against the former lightweight champion, Anthony Pettis. The California crowd blew the roof of the arena while the Stockton’s favorite son. Nate Diaz gave the best performance of his fighting career. Nate Diaz beat Anthony Pettis, and without wasting any more time called out his next opponent Jorge Masvidal who has been the hottest star in UFC for a meaningful period since he knocked out Ben Askren in 5 seconds.

The UFC fans love the matchup between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal. UFC president, Dana White loves that fight. And both the fighters involved are looking forward to it.

But probably there is one person who is not so happy about being sidelined. And that is the face of the fight business, Conor McGregor. On 21st August 2016 at T- Mobile Arena, Conor McGregor made history and fought Nate Diaz in the biggest PPV of UFC at that time to avenge his loss.

Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz went through a grueling battle. Both the fighters put the performance of their lives on that night and brought the fans onto the edge of their seats when the fight went to judges’ decisions. Nobody in the arena had a clue about the winner. It could have been anyone. But for the last three years, Conor has been involved in other ventures such as boxing Mayweather and living a lavish life with the money he earned, and Nate Diaz has not been competing in the UFC octagon.

However, Nate Diaz just fought and won, and he is the talk of the town now. For sure a fight with Jorge Masvidal would be refreshing and intriguing. But who doesn’t want to watch a trilogy fight between two of the biggest attraction in UFC, Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz?

Conor is a smart fighter and even smarter businessman. Conor is well aware of the fact that his trilogy fight with Diaz can be one of the biggest paydays of his fighting career. So it seems Conor just called out Nate Diaz for the trilogy fight in a rather subtle manner. However, it would be fascinating to see whether Nate Diaz will entertain the idea of a third fight with Conor when he has the fight with Masvidal on the table.

One thing for sure, Conor McGregor may just have spoken his mind for his next fight.
