Genshin Impact community becomes furious because of the recent Twitch event announcement

miHoYo announced that the Adventurers’ Guild on Twitch limited event will begin from November 25 to December 8. Although developers mentioned players to support their favorite streamer to receive an event-exclusive wind glider: Wings of Feasting, it’s not the same at all.

During the event, players have to login into their Twitch account and purchase two months of eligible Tier 1 subscriptions to select Twitch channels. Furthermore, only a selected number of content creators approved by miHoYo will be eligible to take part in the event. Naturally, it’s a great way to support small content creators who need to uplift their channel.

However, if a big content creator takes part in the event, it will be easy for them to make a profit. Therefore, players are furious as miHoYo will decide which creator they have to support without their concern if they like them or not. Moreover, many big content creators like Tectone, Mtashed, and Tenha were not even part of the list.

Some users may believe the content creators other than the small creators will get enormous benefits from the deal. According to Tectone, creators have to sign an exclusivity contract. He said,” It’s a two-week exclusivity contract which means you can only stream Genshin Impact for two weeks no other games. It would be fine if they paid us and here’s the thing for the payment absolutely nothing, ZERO!!”

This means that for two weeks, content creators can’t even accept sponsorships, which can benefit them a lot more than miHoYo’s offer. Thus, many big creators are declining the offer. They know they can make more money by sponsorships and promote small creators. What are your thoughts on the new Twitch event? Lets us know in the comments.
