Colby Covington Issues a Career-Ending Threat to Kamaru Usman Before UFC 245

After a lot of speculations, Colby Covington will finally fight Kamaru Usman for the welterweight title in UFC 245. This fight is going to be very intriguing because of several reasons. Covington and Usman can not stand each other and this bad blood has been there for more than a year now. That apart, both the fighters are very similar when it comes to fighting.

Both Covington and Usman rely on their wrestling background a lot and they keep up a pace inside the octagon that is very hard to deal with. It’s one of those fights where anyone can come victorious. However, Colby Covington does not feel the same way as he firmly believes he will be able to get an easy win against the champion.

In a recent interview with ScoreMMA, when asked about how do his skillsets match up with Usman’s Covington replied:

“I am better in every department. The looks department for sure. The only thins he is losing faster than that number 1 contender power ranger belt is that hairline. that thing is disgusting. As far as skillsets I am a better wrestler. He is a D2 scrub I am D1 all-star. My striking is way better. He does not have Jiu-Jitsu. He is getting submitted by white belts. So December 14th you all are gonna be shocked. “

Colby “Chaos” Covington even claims to put an end to Usman’s career on December 14th. Covington also said that during the fight promotion he is going to tell some truths which will be hard to deal with for Usman. Covington claims:

“The thing about Marty Fakenewsman is he does not want to get up there and get into that thing. Because all the truths I am gonna hit him with are gonna burn him. He is gonna need a psychologist, he is gonna need therapy. After I end his career on December 14th, he is gonna need help. He is probably gonna want to commit suicide. I hope he can get through it.”

Well, we can expect things to be a little dirty when Usman and Covington face each other for the press conferences. After all, Covington is notorious for that. However, it’s also safe to assume that the fight between Colby Covington and Kamaru Usman is going to be a competitive one.
