They suffered a 48-21 loss at FBC Mortgage Stadium in Orlando this Saturday. This win improved Buffs to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in Big 12 play, while UCF dropped to 3-1 and 1-1. On September 29, 2024, On3 shared a post on their X account, which showed the screenshot of Shilo Sanders’ IG story with the caption “Shilo Sanders trolled UCF QB KJ Jefferson on his IG story after Colorado’s W“. That IG story depicted UCF QB KJ Jefferson’s locker, in which hung a picture of Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders with a quote from Skip Bayless saying, “he’s not just the best QB in the Big 12 Conference, but he’s the best QB in the country.” and using an arrow, Shilo pointed to this quote with labeling it as the “Fact“. Now the question remains, why did he mention that quote as ‘fact’? Because, as per Shilo’s perspective, Shedeur’s dominance over the Knights led the Buffs to gain a victory on Saturday’s matchup. Sanders has 280 yards and three touchdowns, and 28 of 34 passes have been completed. Conversely, UCF’s KJ Jefferson has fumbled for a 95-yard touchdown. So, hope you understand the reason behind Shilo’s label.  

However, Shilo received backlash for mocking UCF’s quarterback after the Buffs win. You might wonder why Shilo received criticism. But the most intriguing fact is that despite criticism, Shilo’s mom, Pilar Sanders, always stayed by his side and she shared the same IG story on her IG account. It looks like her son has her full-hearted support. Not to mention, she has always supported him throughout his journey, even when he needed surgery in the second week of CFB due to an arm injury.

Shilo Sanders’ mother shares an update on his injury

Despite the fact that the Colorado Buffaloes and Nebraska Cornhuskers no longer play as frequently, their Week 2 matchup was guaranteed to be fierce. But after Shilo Sanders was hurt in the first quarter, things started to look bad for CU. Due to a broken arm, he suffered a devastating injury, which made fans worried about Colorado’s safety.
