The Clash at the Castle was the event where Punk is expected to just make an appearance. But his returning to the in-ring competition is not expected before SummerSlam. Although this is simply a rumor, WWE Universe’s expectations for the comeback of Punk have grown. The Best in the World is recuperating well, and he even went on to brawl with Drew McIntyre with his injured arm at WrestleMania 40.
SRS in his podcast stated, “Is Punk cleared or close to it? Return at Clash at the Castle. Well, I mean, he’s progressing a lot better than the first time I was told. And the thing was, he wanted to recover way sooner than the original triceps injury. So how long did he miss? Like effectively 10 months with that thing? And now he’s been out February, March, April, May, four and a half months, I could see him getting, getting back in the fold by SummerSlam, but that’s just a prediction. That’s a, that’s just a hunch.” Now the question is will CM Punk appear on Clash at The Castle?
