As Chelsea and Arsenal get ready to lock their horns in Community Shield match, the London rivals will be competing for first silverware this season. Played between the winners of Premier League and FA cup, the cup may be not a major trophy, but almost always features some highly anticipated clash. Here are five factors involving the encounter at Wembley Stadium, for the Chelsea vs Arsenal match:
1.Wenger VS Mourinho

Ever since Jose Mourinho began his career in Premier League in 2005, there have been a lot of spats between the managers.
Let it be the “specialist in failure” jibe by Mourinho or Arsene Wenger’s criticism of the Portuguese’s defensive tactics, both have not been shy of letting their feelings known for each their publicly.
More recently Wenger stated that he expects more respect from Jose, and once again mentioned the “unattractive football” Chelsea plays.
But Jose finally has broken some ice stating: “I believe they [Arsenal] have a top manager, I’m not making fun here. They will be even harder to beat next season.”
But that does not make the contest less exciting, and as both teams match-up, bragging rights will be up fo grabs.
2.Petr Cech’s point to prove
Petr Cech, who served Chelsea for eleven years will be playing the Blues for the first time since leaving them this summer. Replaced by the younger Thibaut Courtois, he will be looking to make a statement, and a classic Cech performance may set the tone for the whole season for the 33-year-old.
If that happens, Chelsea will have a deja vu from last season when Frank Lampard scored a late equalizer for Manchester City against them.
3.Hazard vs Sanchez
Arsenal and Chelsea possess arguably the top two players in the premier league, Alexis Sanchez, and Eden Hazard. While Hazard tipped Sanchez for the player of the season last time around, the Chile man will come back stronger this time. As always it will be a treat to watch both men at work, and it will be interesting to see their form as both the teams depend on them so much.
P.S.: Alexis Sanchez may not start as he was given an extended break following his duties with Chile in Copa America.
4. Falcao’s second chance
After a disastrous last season with Manchester United, Radamel Falcao has a second chance in Premier League with Chelsea. The ‘El Tigre’ will be looking to make an impact on a match of this caliber. The poor form of Diego Costa in the pre-season might just present the perfect opportunity for the Colombian.
Falcao is the kind of striker Mourinho likes to have, possessing physical strength and great finishing. He has a great chance under a great manager to regain the form which made him one of the most feared striker in the world, and this match might just start it.

5. A battle of style
Chelsea and Arsenal both play very different football. While Arsenal have easy on the eye, attacking football, Chelsea’s ‘parking the bus’ style doesn’t prevent them from getting dirty to win.

Different people have different views on both the styles, Jose on one hand stated he respects the “bus drivers” and find his wins as beautiful, on the other hand, Wenger has regarded it as a “responsibility” for the top clubs to play attractive football.
So when the two teams go head to head on Sunday, once again it will not only be a match between two teams but a fight between the principles.
