Thomas Tuchel has been a revelation for Chelsea. The German coach took over a talented, yet struggling, side from Frank Lampard and led them to the Champions League after not even a complete season in charge.
Kai Havertz scored the winner in the final of the UCL as Chelsea beat favorites Manchester City. The Blues are flying high yet again this season, top of the Premier League after 9 games. However, life wasn’t always rosy for Tuchel as the German was sacked by PSG after he failed to deliver the Champions League to the club. His PSG side performed remarkably to reach the final but fell short in front of Bayern Munich.

Thomas Tuchel opens up on his troubles with PSG
Soccer fans aren’t exactly known for being supportive of managers, with every supporter believing they could do a better job at the helm. However, Thomas Tuchel opened up his troubles with PSG and spoke about how it was a tough job.
“At PSG, I felt like I was the sports minister. I had to manage family members and friends of the star players,” said Tuchel.
Tuchel’s response makes a lot of sense considering the superstars that PSG have on their roster. It seems as if managing a club like PSG is incredibly easy with the transfer funds available for them. However, when it comes to reality, the job has proved tough for many managers.
If Pochettino manages to handle the dressing room, as well as the tactics, PSG can reach their personal summit, the Champions League. Tuchel, in the meantime, is creating his legacy at Chelsea.

Tuchel has transformed Chelsea
When Frank Lampard coached Chelsea, his use of players raised eyebrows. Kai Havertz arrived at Stamford Bridge with much fanfare but did not perform well. But, after Tuchel arrived, he has breathed new life into Havertz who is now important to Tuchel’s plans.
His role as a center-attacking midfielder is important for Chelsea to tick. With Lukaku holding up play brilliantly, other Chelsea players like Ziyech, Werner, Mount, Hudson-Odoi can run behind him and provide a threat in attack. Havertz unlocks defenses with his creativity and his ability to find the killer pass is incredible.

Tuchel is undoubtedly an extremely talented coach who’s done wonders in his time at Chelsea. As for PSG, all the best to Mauricio Pochettino.
