Chelsea has announced the signing of teenager Danilo Pantic from Serbian club FK Partizan and has been immediately loaned to Dutch side Vitesse.

The 18-year old in January announced that he will be joining Chelsea. The midfielder who made 18 appearances for Partizan will be plying his trade at Dutch club Vitesse next season.

He’s already made his debut in a Vitesse shirt in a preseason friendly last week.

Pantic said: “I am very happy to sign for Chelsea, the champions of the English Premier League, and I hope I can show my value at Vitesse in the coming season. I am honoured at the faith both clubs have shown in me.”

Pantic becomes the 4th  Chelsea player to join Vitesse in a loan deal, following Lewis Baker, Izzy Brown and Brazilian Nathan.

The player will have to make a serious mark in Eredivisie if he has to break into a team with likes of Cesc Fabregas, Nemanja Matić, Oscar and Ramires anytime soon.
