London-based club Chelsea FC is understood to ready itself for the departure of Mohamed Salah, Filipe Luis and Juan Cuadrado as all the three players doubt their future prospects at the club.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that they would be willing to let the Egyptian as well as the Brazilian leave, if they get the right amount. This is a clear indication of lack of playing time in the future.

Filipe Luis was brought at the Stamford Bridge last season for €22.7 million, but wasn’t utilized to his full potential. Although his previous club, Atletico Madrid wishes to get him back, but the minimum price demand might push them away.

Mohamed Salah, back from his loan spell from Fiorentina has declined another spell in the same club, and now risks being in the middle of nowhere as the club has no space left for him. Roma is keen to have him on the board though.

Mourinho spoke to the reporters in a press conference, according to Goal.com:

“If they want him back then they have to pay and we have to discuss the offer. Then we have to react and we have to go in the market.”

“I see Salah’s future elsewhere, either as a loan or an offer that we are happy to accept. At the moment, with Hazard and Willian, Traore, Moses and Cuadrado, we have five players for these positions. It is better not to have so many.”

Although Juan Cuadrado has been named by the manager, the player himself doubts his playing chances at the club, as the winger hardly got playing opportunities ever since his arrival from Fiorentina. Jose Mourinho likes to keep his playing XI constant, and player dissatisfaction is a direct consequence of this.

With all these players leaving, rumours are that Chelsea is on the lookout for Barcelona’s Pedro to add attacking prowess to the club.
