The criticism that Chelsea has received in recent weeks is well known to the whole world. From ‘Park the Bus’ to various names and many have even gone on to question the club’s title credentials. Is this really what the champions of England deserve?
They started off the season as favourites and the way they started thrashing each and every team in English Premier League, it was very clear that Jose Mourinho’s men are on a mission. It’s probably the first time any team has remained at the top of table for the whole season.
They have played in a manner that was expected from them and few were critical about Atletico Madrid’s success last year that was based largely on similar lines.

However, 2015 has been a bit tough for The Blues as they have understandably failed to replicate their early season form. That they got knocked out of the UEFA Champions League was obviously another tough pill to swallow.
But to begrudge them of a league title, one that they deserved more than anyone else is also unfair, regardless of the tactics and manner in which they played. They showed steel. Others simply cracked when the pressure intensified.
Yes, they played some boring football. Yes, they parked the bus when it was needed. They grinded out results but if your club had done the same and landed a title at the end, few would be complaining. Let the team revel in this success.
Let the supporters brag. Simply dominating possession and ending up losing to the only shot on target is really not much of an achievement.
Any manager in the world would trade a result over the style in which it is delivered.
