After the Chase Briscoe and Cole Custer controversy played out last weekend at Charlotte Roval, Briscoe managed to squeeze himself into the round of 8 in the playoffs. Soon after, Briscoe posted an infamous Michael Jordan meme taking a dig at Dale Earnhardt Jr and a former Hendrick Motorsport legend, after they mentioned that Briscoe would not be able to make it to the next round of the playoffs.

Briscoe posted an image that showcased the drivers, Steve Letarte and Dale Earnhardt Jr had picked, whom they believed would not be able to qualify for the round of 8. However, after Cole Custer helped him by landing at the epicenter of controversy, Briscoe was able to climb his way back into the cutoff. Right below we also see Briscoe’s head placed on top of a Michael Jordan image, with a text reading, “…and I took that personally.”

Soon, Fans of the sport reacted to his tweet and congratulated him for proving everyone wrong.

Had it not been what Cole Custer did, Briscoe perhaps would not have made it to the round of 8, to begin with. But now that he is here, fans congratulated him on making it through.

Fans were generally congratulatory. However, some of them also reminded him how he got there in the first place. One person stated that Stewart-Haas Racing had now become the official villain of NASCAR, especially after what happened at Charlotte Roval last weekend.
