Ferrari driver Charles LeClerc rocketed to pole position ahead of Sunday’s Bahrain GP. He will be the second youngest pole-sitter in Formula One’s history. The Monegasque native starts ahead of teammate and 4-time World Champion, Sebastian Vettel.

During the post-qualifying interview, former F1 driver Paul di Resta conducted the session. After talking about his lap and later praising teammate Vettel, the subject turned to the plan for tonight. Chuckling, he said, “Going to sleep and working hard for the race tomorrow.”

It was a reasonably good day for Ferrari, in front of CEO, Louis Camilleri, with a 1-2. To make matters even better, the Mercedes duo were 3rd and 4th with Max Verstappen 5th.

It was a double delight for McLaren as both cars ended up in the top 10 along with Kimi Raikkonen and the two Haas cars. All in all, four teams got both cars in the top 10, with Raikkonen and Verstappen losing their teammates early.
