Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have updated the schedule for the Finals of the Apex Legends Global Series Online Tournaments. The dates for the Online Tournament #5 and #6 were brought forward by a day. OT #5 and #6 will now take place on May 2-3 and May 30-31.
It was done to fit the competitors’ schedules properly and give time for viewers to watch the broadcast online. Ensuring the safety of all players, staff, and viewers, as mentioned by John Nelson, was the topmost priority.

Global Series Online Tournament (OT) #4 will commence on Saturday, April 18, and conclude on Monday, April 20.
Tune in at 9:45am PT April 20 as the top teams across NA and EU battle it out in their respective Finals for a share of $100K in Online Tournament 4!

The Global Series is a range of online tournaments occurring throughout 2020. Some of the top teams in Apex Legends eSports will be going head to head.
Assigned to continuing the Apex Legends Global Series while everyone is safe at home, EA devised a cloud-based broadcast production capability. Operated remotely in its entirety, it will still deliver high-quality competitive experiences online. EA successfully implemented the new cloud-based technology during the live broadcast of the Finals of OT #2.
Competitors for the Online Tournaments will receive Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) points and a combined prize pool of $100k (NA &EU) as rewards as they fight their way up the leaderboards.
The Finals of the upcoming OT#4 in Europe and North America regions will be streamed live on the Apex Legends Twitch and YouTube channels starting today.

Who Will The Participants Be?

The Online Tournaments are averaging more than 600 teams. 5-time champions TSM, Complexity, Team Liquid, Rogue, Luminosity Gaming, Gambit Esports, Natus Vincere, Virtus.pro, North are the emerging favorites till now.
Teams are currently fighting their way up the Global Series leaderboard. There will be a total of ten Online Tournaments. The Grand Finals will conclude the Global Series.
Currently, TSM tops the North American ALGS Points Leaderboard, while Kebabrulla tops the European Leaderboard.
