Cyberpunk 2077 nears release after three delays
Living up to the hype is a tall task for a game of this magnitude. Originally, CDPR had planned to release the game in the early months of 2020. However, the studio failed to keep up with that and postponed the release date, since they needed more time to make some changes to enhance the gaming experience.
Incidentally, this led to the game being delayed three times since the outbreak of the COVID-19 had made matters much worse.
CDPR, however, bore through all difficulties and worked through the pandemic year. Understanding the fans’ frustrations, the devs confirmed the release date as December 10, keeping it in the same calendar year.
In a statement posted on their Twitter handle, they have requested the fans with early access not to stream the game before the official release.
