Two of the greatest athletes in their respective sports, both Sha’Carri Richardson and Sasha Banks ooze greatness. While Richardson is a 23-year-old who has made her mark in track sports, Banks is a professional wrestler.

Earlier this year, Banks made her way to Japan to reinvent herself. Reborn as Mercedes Mone, the former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion is known for her unusual style and different hair colors. Recently, Sha’Carri Richardson did something with her hair that made fans compare her to Banks.

August 12th, 2019 would see the return of Sasha Banks to WWE after a long hiatus. She would return with her iconic purple hair, only to reveal a volume of blue hair under the purple wig and turn heel. Her wig reveal would become a cult moment in the history of WWE.

Recently, Richardson did something similar which sent Twitter into a frenzy. The 23-year-old recently participated in the US Championships and won the 100m race. However, prior to her race, she did what Sasha Banks had done four years ago.

Prior to the race, Richardson removed her orange wig to reveal a mass of white cornrows. Fans were taken aback for a moment while witnessing this, but they soon erupted with cheers and applause.  With a new look and more focused than ever, Richardson would run and win the 100m championship.

The moment was indeed iconic. The similarity between the two great athletes was all it took to make the fans happy.
