At Noche UFC at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Charlie Campbell destroyed Alex Reyes inside the octagon. After his grand victory in the second bout of the night, he channeled his inner Dwayne Johnson in his post-fight promo. He asked current UFC commentator Daniel Cormier, “What do you think about my boxing?”

Before the former MMA fighter could reply to his question, he pulled out one of The Rock’s iconic catchphrases, “It doesn’t matter what you think.” He then added, “Shoutout to Dwayne Johnson, the Rock. I’m a huge fan. Put me in a movie or something.” Ariel Helwani was shocked but quite enjoyed the segment.

Clearly, ‘The Cannibal’ admires DJ very much. Plus, with the UFC-WWE merger and Johnson’s latest appearance, he did a good job shooting his shot, which may put him in the limelight to work with Johnson in the future.

What does Johnson’s return to WWE mere days after the WWE-UFC merger mean?

From the very first day, when the UFC and WWE merger was announced, ‘The Great One’ was hopeful for a reunion. He knew that this merger would definitely turn out to be special and extremely successful. He has professional relations with both pro wrestling and MMA giants.

He has worked in WWE as a pro wrestler while he is also associated with UFC through his Project Rock deal. Just days after the merger took place, he returned to WWE. This might be a sign that we can expect more appearances from ‘The Brahma Bull’ henceforth.
