A star’s or pro athlete’s salary is something that always leads to a stir-up in the fandom. While most of the time it’s just the fans who are left in shock, sometimes, fellow stars from the company have a similar reaction to these things. Such is the case of Phil Brooks a.k.a CM Punk. CEO of UFC, Dana White revealed how much CM Punk was making at UFC during his short tenure with the company. Along with that, he also talked about how he left Hall of Famer Brock Lesnar as he claimed a huge bag.

According to the reports that were disclosed during the hearing, it was stated that Punk made a flat $500,000 per fight. Apart from that, the experts working on the case believe that Punk made a whopping $1,042,736 for his debut match against Mickey Gall at UFC 203 in September 2016.
This is a shocker as Brock Lesnar who made his debut way before Punk made $4.6 million collectively during his time at UFC. Apart from that, the former AEW star was promised an additional bonus if the pay-per-view ticket sales crossed the 200,000 buys mark.
What’s more surprising is that Punk had a rather short and lackluster UFC career as compared to Brock Lesnar.
