Jorge Masvidal advised Lola Vice to not distract herself from practice
Recently, Jorge Masvidal failed to meet expectations in the octagon against Gilbert Burns at UFC 287. The Cuban American MMA fighter announced his intentions to retire after struggling to find his form in the welterweight division. However, his protégé, Valerie Loureda, looks to be a valiant force as her “favorite fighter”, but in WWE.

Lola Vice spoke about the best advice Masvidal gave her after his match against ‘Durinho’. She said, “Okay, the best piece of advice Jorge has given me is to keep doing what works — Like, keep focusing on training.”

‘Gamebred’ imparted some wisdom to her about the importance of training. Moreover, the former UFC BMF champion recognized Vice’s great potential and reminded her to avoid distractions, such as fame, that keep her far from her goal.
She said, “So he’s always told me don’t let the fame, like, distract me, that fighting is our focus. And he’s always reminded me that I’m a dog.” and added “I do have big potential in the sport”
Despite his retirement from the sport, the WWE star expressed her pride in Masvidal’s MMA career.

Through her recent tweet, the WWE star paid a tribute to ‘Gamebred’ for his inspiring journey from street fighting to UFC. Moreover, Loureda compared herself to a female version of Masivdal and wrote “And I see myself a lot like him in a fighter in a girl version. And he’s my favorite fighter forever.” She concluded, “I admire him a lot. And I’m really proud of him.”
Therefore, Lola Vice wants to make an enormous impact on WWE, after these inspiring words from her favorite fighter.
