Without a doubt, Brock Lesnar is a once-in-a-lifetime athlete. In the world of pro wrestling, very few names command as much respect and fear as The Beast Incarnate. That said, there were moments in his career that left the fans in total shock. And one of those moments came at WrestleMania 19.

During a recent interview, UFC commentator Joe Rogan conveyed his incredulity regarding a risky wrestling move that Brock Lesnar pulled off at the Grandest Stage of Them All. By now, wrestling fans from the Ruthless Aggression Era are likely well aware of the move in question.

Brock Lesnar faced off against Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 19, with the WWE Championship at stake. The match was nothing short of spectacular, as both athletes possessed legitimate wrestling experience. In other words, an NCAA champion who is built like a monster went head-to-head with an Olympic champion.

At one point, fans were confused to see Lesnar scaling the top turnbuckle. Normally, a guy his size refrains from pulling off high-flying moves. The next moment, fans gasped in shock as Lesnar botched a shooting star press. He landed so awkwardly on his head that he instantly suffered a concussion.

While discussing the iconic moment in a recent edition of The Joe Rogan Experience, Hulk Hogan and Joe Rogan revisited the moment. Hogan and Rogan were left in disbelief after watching Lesnar land on his head.

Rogan said, “Any other human, is paralyzed from that. To be 300+ lbs, and to be built like a f**ing superhero, and to do a front flip, and land on your f**king head, most people are dead. I don’t know what permanent damage he suffered, but by the way, he went from that to fighting in the UFC.”

The idea that Lesnar transitioned from a failed move that almost left him paralyzed to competing in the UFC is something that Joe Rogan finds difficult to comprehend. WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan was equally surprised and revealed how intense Brock Lesnar is as an athlete.

Lesnar would then continue the match and defeat Angle to capture the world title. Although Lesnar admittedly suffered a form of brain damage from the impact, it did not keep him from becoming a champion in the UFC.

However, he ended up losing his debut bout in the promotion. Later that year, Lesnar shocked the world after defeating MMA legend Randy “The Natural” Couture and claiming the UFC World Title.
