As popular as he is inside the octagon, Conor McGregor also leaves his impression on the outer world. All the UFC fans are aware of McGregor’s raging feuds. Although most of it stays inside the sport, the Irishman doesn’t stop just there. McGregor is popular for having online feuds as well, especially with popular celebrities. Some celebrities might ignore the trash talk initiated by him, while some reply.

But on this occasion, the gauntlet has been laid down by a WWE superstar. Yet again fans relax back in their seats and watch another feud pulling up on Twitter. And this time, it has the potential to build into something big.

WWE star calls out Conor McGregor

Dolph Ziggler has been with WWE for a long time now. The popular heel figure has left his imprint on fans’ minds. While staying strongly in character, Ziggler tweeted against McGregor. “Absolutely amazing #WrestleMania. PS: If I can drop 45 more pounds, I can drop anyone talking trash! Seems even easier to get the deal done now, right @TheNotoriousMMA,” wrote the Raw superstar.

McGregor calling out another star is normal news for fans. However, the turn of events here seems to be grabbing a lot of attention. Moreover, the deal with Endeavor has brought both WWE and UFC under the same roof now. So, there is a good chance that UFC stars such as McGregor himself might start appearing in WWE at some point.

Ziggler took the opportunity to throw shade at McGregor while hinting at a possible encounter with him down the road.

Leaving that to the future, Ziggler isn’t the first WWE personality to feud with McGregor.

Time and again fans have seen McGregor feuding with WWE stars online. The Irish fighter once used Twitter to express his views on WWE stars. He went on to explain how he does not like respecting certain wrestlers signed to the sports entertainment promotion. Interestingly, Ziggler’s one-time WWE rival Seth Rollins once trolled McGregor after his comments about the toughness of WWE stars in 2016.

His most recent WWE interaction was with Paul Heyman. McGregor went on to publicly threaten Heyman on Twitter. The Irishman warned how he would pull up to the promotion to fight The Wise Man. Although it already appeared to hint at his WWE debut, things since then have only moved closer to the speculation.
