The Biggest Party of Summer, SummerSlam 2023 saw some exciting action. More or less, every match delivered for the fans. The second match of the night saw, Brock Lesnar take on Cody Rhodes in a hard-hitting match.

However, despite being manhandled by Lesnar, Rhodes would find his way out on top, and secure a win with a trifecta of Cross-Rhodes, which, however, was not received well by the fans. Despite fans not being impressed with Rhodes’ match, his wife Brandi Rhodes was left extremely impressed and even took a major U-turn.

What compelled Brandi Rhodes to become a Brock Lesnar fan?

Despite not being by the ringside, Brandi Rhodes witnessed her husband The American Nightmare defeat Brock Lesnar. The show of respect from Brock Lesnar after the match compelled Brandi Rhodes to become a ‘fan’ of Lesnar.

Building up to their rivalry, Rhodes would be absolutely destroyed by Lesnar more or less every other week. However, fighting off the odds, Rhodes would defeat The Beast Incarnate, and earn his respect in the process.

Getting one’s hands raised by Lesnar is a big feat. And soon after Lesnar possibly passed the torch to Rhodes, Brandi Rhodes would take to her Twitter account to declare her fandom for Lesnar. She wrote, “Well bless my soul. I’m a Brock Lesnar fan now. ” This in contrast to her previous tweets which have targeted The Beast for attacking his husband.

This might be a face turn for Brock Lesnar again, as he was gracious in defeat. Rumors state Lesnar going on a hiatus after SummerSlam. However, for Rhodes, this is only the beginning of his road to redemption to finish off his story.
