The wrestling world recently saw the shocking and tragic death of one of the industry’s most creative superstars. Bray Wyatt left the world after suffering a fatal heart attack while also suffering from Covid-19 complications. No sooner did Wyatt pass away, the entire world wrestling fraternity came together to pay their respect to ‘The Eater of the Worlds’. While WWE paid their tribute at their recent episode of WWE SmackDown, Tony Khan’s AEW paid their heeds at AEW All-In 2023.

However, such was Wyatt’s influence that it even spread into the United Kingdom. One of the premier soccer clubs in the country came together to pay their respect to Bray Wyatt.

Which English soccer giant paid an emotional tribute to Bray Wyatt?

WWE released Wyatt in 2021 but would return later in 2022. However, post his return, the superstar only featured in one feud against LA Knight, before going on a hiatus. Wyatt would never return from that hiatus. Despite rumors of a return this year, the chances of seeing it now is none.

After his tragic demise, tributes came in from all quarters. English soccer club Arsenal which is estimated to be worth $1.9 billion plays WWE themes at the Emirates Stadium. And, similarly, during their recent clash against Tony Khan’s Fulham, the Arsenal stadium DJ decided to pay the club’s tribute to Bray Wyatt.

Wyatt was an extremely influential wrestler and had his influence spread all over the globe. The English soccer club is one of the most premium soccer clubs in the world, and receiving such a massive show of respect from them portrayed the impact and influence Wyatt oozed during his time.

Although the 36-year-old passed away, he left behind a rich legacy in the world of pro wrestling. His fiance, children, and siblings survive Wyatt. Just like Arsenal paid tribute to the deceased star, a faction from AEW also paid homage to the Wyatt.

AEW All In 2023 took place at the Wembley Stadium in London. And it was arguably one of the biggest wrestling events of all time. Here, prior to the main event between Adam Cole and MJF, the House of Black faced off against Billy Gunn, and The Acclaimed while defending their AEW Trios Championship.

Although The House of Black would lose the titles, they won the fan’s hearts during their entrance. As the trio entered the stadium, we would see Buddy Matthews holding a lantern similar to that of Wyatt, while the stadium would break out into fireflies.

It was an extremely emotional moment but showed the sportsmanship these wrestlers have, and the respect they share with each other.
