WWE brings an action-jacked Raw season premiere live tonight at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. The show is also slated to add more drama to the table as it sets the tone for Saudi Arabia’s Crown Jewel. The night kicked in with the stellar “Fall Count Anywhere Match” between Shinsuke Nakamura vs Ricochet with the former picking up a smooth win.
All looked good tonight’s extravaganza except for one missing piece of the puzzle which was Michael Cole hyping up the arena with his electrifying voice.
The real reason behind Michael Cole’s unwonted absence on Raw

Michael Cole isn’t on RAW tonight, which is a rare call for the veteran in his 26-year-long career. While Kevin Patrick and Wade Barrett filled the void, fans might be curious to know the reason for Cole missing out on Monday Night RAW this week.
The 56-year-old took the Raw stage to storm with some hard-hitting questions last week. He asked Cody Rhodes some solid questions including the finishing of his story.

However, PWInsider reported that Cole requested an off for this week due to some personal commitment.
Michael Cole had requested some time ago for this week off due to a personal commitment and is not an illness or anything similar.
Cole is slated to be back next week.

Michael Cole’s illustrious WWE career in a nutshell
The 56-year-old has been showing his skill to the world with the mic in his hand for the red brand for the past few years.
No matter how unbelievable it sounds, since 1997, the WWE veteran only missed two Raw episodes which clearly how gem of a professional he is.
From an amateur backstage correspondence to the seasoned play-by-play commentator and arguably one of the greatest color commentators, Cole’s journey is no short of a banger.

He has been performing double duty since 2019, calling matches for both RAW and SmackDown. Cole also had a part in NXT live events alongside Nigel McGuiness and Mauro Ranallo.
Now it remains to be seen how many hats he will wear during the rest of his WWE days.
