Grayson Waller is getting quite the reputation in the WWE for being the loudmouth who calls out wrestling legends. After targeting Dwayne The Rock Johnson and John Cena to no avail, Waller gave his signature ‘rub’ to another legend, this time from the NFL.

While Waller is good on the mic and proving himself to the WWE crowd to be one of the best heels in the company, he is yet to see a WWE legend accept his ‘rub’ and thus he has turned his attention to NFL.

The Grayson Waller ‘Rub’ is what the Aussie wrestler calls his shout-out to the legends of the WWE. It is part of him being a heel in the WWE and has won over the fans. After offering it to Cena and The Rock and getting declined by both, he decided to pick NFL legend, Jason Kelce for his rub.

The Twitter handle of WWE on Fox recently posted an image of Waller on the field with the NFL legend Kelce. During a practice game, Waller and Johnny Gargano were guests of the Philadelphia Eagles. After the practice concluded, Waller approached Kelce with a replica of the WWE belt. The two took a picture and exchanged words. This was captioned “The Grayson Waller Rub 🦅”

This comes days after the Babyfaces podcast, where Waller called out The Rock. Waller, the loudmouth he is, has exchanged words with The Great One on social media. Their interaction is cause for future feud speculations. The Rock responded to Waller but was not happy with it.

On the podcast, Waller claimed that The Rock was one of the most popular wrestlers, but he hasn’t done anything for Waller. In his words, Waller wanted to give The Rock a chance with his ‘Rub’ to return to the WWE. He did mention that it could be for the Roman Reigns Bloodline story.

Waller called out Cena and The Rock

This is not the first time Waller has called out a WWE legend. He went after Cena, and it did not end well for him. During Money in the Bank at the O2 arena in London this year, Waller interrupted Cena. After a bit of back and forth, Waller ate an AA from Cena. Fans speculated that this could be setting up Waller vs. Cena, but that never materialized. However, Waller was not done.

Taking to social media, Waller compared his in-ring debut at Madison Square Garden to that of The Rock in 1996 at SummerSlam. Furthermore, he criticized The Rock’s choice of clothing which did not sit well with The Great One. The Rock did respond, but it wasn’t as Waller expected.

Cena and The Rock are no longer full-time WWE stars, so giving the squared circle their entire attention is not part of their lives anymore. Fans still hope one of them may have a match with the Aussie loudmouth.
