For those unaware of the story, Sharpe challenged The Rock to a bench press competition. Despite not benching for over a year, he didn’t hesitate to claim that it would take him only a month to get in shape. However, as soon as The Great One responded, Sharpe called it off.

Sharpe is no coward when it comes to weights. During his peak in the 90s, he had one of the best bodies in the sport. Even today, despite his age being 55, he maintains his physique. However, Sharpe advocates not pushing your body over the limit, like Johnson.

Fans got a glimpse of Sharpe’s strength in August 2022. The 54-year-old took to social media to showcase his benching skills. He benched 365 pounds for six reps. According to him, he could bench 470 pounds during his peak playing days. However, due to injuries, Sharpe had to stop benching heavy weights.
