Outsiders looking in on the world of wrestling seem to have an intense respect for the sport. Recently, Logan Paul taking to the squared circle for a bout and immediately letting Triple H know how difficult fighting in the ring was, is one such example of this.

Now, yet another star has shown his respect for the sport. Zac Efron recently paid tribute to the hardships professional wrestlers go through. And despite being away from wrestling in his childhood, he revealed an interesting bond. What did he say? Let’s find out.

Zac Efron revealed the reason behind his respect for wrestlers

Renowned Hollywood star Zac Efron recently had a conversation with Chris Van Vliet. He was there to promote his upcoming film, The Iron Claw, based on the legendary wrestling brothers, Kevin and Kerry, the Von Erichs.

The conversation began when Van Vliet asked the actor about his relationship with wrestling growing up. To that, Efron immediately replied, saying, “It’s interesting I didn’t get that into it when I was younger. My parents didn’t really like having it on because my little brother and I would immediately just get into it right after. So they didn’t like us jumping off the couch and fighting.” However, his interest didn’t stop there.

So yeah, soon to be an even bigger fan!”

His quotes apparently tell the transition from the days he stayed away from wrestling to the current scenario where he hopes to follow the sport in the future. What are your thoughts after hearing him?
