A few years back, the WWE superstar John Cena appeared on ‘The Ellen Show’ as a special guest. There, the host pointed out the change in his hair which made Cena recall the entire scenario that made him change his haircut and how it affected the fans.
John Cena revealed that he went to China for a Hollywood project and stayed there for almost six months, and when he came back, his hair was grown and it changed his entire look.
The 16-time WWE world champion also mentioned that when he came back to the USA, some fans were really angry because of his new look, but he kept it as he is always open to trying new things.
John Cena said, “I went to film a movie in China and the movie was six months long. And, in the process, I grew my hair out. So I left with a buzz cut and I came back with this and everybody’s like, ‘You’ve ruined my childhood’. So I’m just trying to figure my life out with a haircut and everybody’s like, ‘You ruined my life’. And I’m like, ‘Whoa, I’m so sorry’. So it’s kind of weird……. And it’s cool to be able to just try something new.”
The Hollywood project John Cena talking about here is the action-comedy ‘Hidden Strike’. The movie has been stuck in the post-production limbo for more than four years.
