“You’ve More B***s Than That” – 72 YO Actor-Director Questions His “6FT Something Friend” Dwayne Johnson’s Honesty for Keeping a Business Mindset While Helping Maui People

Dwayne Johnson is one of the most decorated celebrities in the world. He is a WWE legend, Hollywood’s biggest action star, and a renowned philanthropist. From helping children out through his ROCK foundation to working for the Red Cross and Make-a-Wish foundation, The Rock does it all.

However, one of his recent acts has not been taken kindly by a veteran actor-director who has been targeting The Rock over the issue. This 72-year-old has slammed Johnson for making business out of Maui people’s misery.

Robert Davi wants more from Dwayne Johnson than just money

The Hawaiian wildfire of 2023 has become the deadliest wildfire in the US in more than a century. After taking the lives of over 115 people, it has brought the attention and sympathy of many including Dwayne Johnson. He has done a lot within his capacity for the cause, but it is not enough for his Hollywood colleague, Robert Davi (The Goonies).

Davi had a message for Johnson through a video clip posted on X through his official account on September 3 with the caption “My message to Dwayne Johnson ⁦ @TheRock ⁩ I’m all for helping God Bless that but the Truth is more important – People want answers not pandering.”

In the video, he accused Johnson of using the opportunity to foster his own career and businesses through a good PR campaign. He said “I thought you’d be honest, I thought you’d be direct with them. But you were not. You bought into whatever your agents told you. You gotta support these people because it’s good for your career and your businesses. But come on, be more dignified than that my Polynesian friend, my 6ft something friend. The biggest star in the world. You’ve got more b***s than that. You can be a real leader instead of a fake leader.” According to Davi there is more than what meets the eye regarding the devastating fire in Maui.

Davi also told The Rock that he was better than this and that he should find out the truth about these fires.

Davi acknowledges Johnson’s status as a superstar, capable enough to run for a presidential campaign. So, he wants Dwayne Johnson to use the power of his influence to probe into the matter instead of just donating to charity.

Hawaii powerlines or Hawaii firefighters?

As reported by ABC News, the first fire broke out due to the Hawaii powerlines, which have been acknowledged by the Hawaiian power utility as well. But they have faulted the firefighters of Hawaii for incorrect reporting of the situation that led to a more dangerous second wave. Amidst the drama of the blame game between authorities, a powerful figure like Dwayne Johnson could help resolve the matter.
