“Your Man Is a Coward”: 11 Years After John Cena Shamed The Rock, Roman Reigns Insults John Cena For Being a Part-Timer

Coming live from BOK Center in Tulsa, the season premiere of SmackDown started off electrifying with John Cena. Making his way to the ring with the usual Cena energy, he was ready to address the fans. However, it wasn’t long before he was interrupted by The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns.

Reigns was scheduled to return to SmackDown, which fans patiently awaited. Since Reign was gone, The Bloodline storyline has not been progressing.

Roman Reigns calls John Cena a coward

As Reigns returned to SmackDown after months of no-show, he was ready for a verbal face-off with Cena. “If you wanna open my show, you gotta do it the right way,” was Reigns’ first words to the leader of the Cenation. This would be the start of a very impressive promo from both wrestlers. Cena was his usual optimistic and positive self, while Reigns was the heel fans loved him as.

As the fans’ vocal support of the 16-time world champion grew louder, Reigns said, “Your man is a coward.”  This reflects the time Cena called Dwayne The Rock Johnson a coward for leaving WWE. The Rock chose Hollywood over the WWE before their iconic feud at WrestleMania XXVIII. This made The Rock a part-timer in the WWE. After 11 years, this came back by Reigns to Cena, as Cena is now a part-timer.

The verbal onslaught would not stop there as Cena would introduce LA Knight as the person he believed earned the right to take on Reigns. Knight and Reigns proceeded to have great chemistry on the mic, lobbing insults at each other. The segment almost came to an end as Jimmy Uso tried to attack Knight before being tossed out of the ring.

Once the confrontation ended, Knight challenged Solo Sikoa to a match later that night. The chemistry of all wrestlers was on point, showcasing why they are the best at what they do.

Knight to get massive push following Fastlane 2023

LA Knight has become one of the most over-wrestlers in the WWE. With impressive skills on the mic and in the ring, the fans love him. The tag match with Cena at Fastlane was Knight’s biggest match in the WWE. This meant a massive push for Knight after being endorsed by Cena on this episode of SmackDown.

Fans speculate Knight could be having a match at the next WWE PLE Crown Jewel. This could be against a member of The Bloodline or Reigns himself.
