LA Knight is currently living the most celebrated period of his WWE career. Triple H finally pulled off his big plan for the 40-year-old standout superstar by handing him a breathtaking victory at 25-Man ‘Slim Jim’ Battle Royal at SummerSlam. It brought a cheerful moment at Ford Field last Saturday with fans continuing their support of their new favorite WWE star. But it seems like the champion looks to more to add to his glory.

LA Knight gives closure to his next big target in WWE

SummerSlam 2023 came as the first premium live event victory for Knight since his main roster debut last year. Knight had hard luck with his encounter with Bray Wyatt in the infamous Pitch Black match at Royal Rumble 2023. He also missed his shot at the Money in the Bank men’s ladder match last month. So, his much-awaited success in SummerSlam had to initiate something special in the meteoric graph of his career.

It did. During the latest episode of the WWE After The Bell podcast, Corey Graves mentioned that WWE higher-ups might get him a title shot at SmackDown next week.

When the winner was asked to give his thoughts on potentially winning a championship title, Knight made his stance clear with a passive reply. Although he didn’t directly claim that he needs a title at this point in time, he expressed his wish to move the momentum upward no matter what.

Knight noted, ”I don’t know. There’s so many different ways to go with it, but I do think that you can’t let this stagnate. So whatever happens, it needs to be an upward and an onward trajectory, whether that’s championships or whatever it is. You can’t just let this sit.”

However, speaking of his latest feat, it seems like Knight recorded another milestone apart from winning the Battle Royal.

LA Knight scored another breathtaking record apart from attaining victory in the recent WWE PLE

Like every other year, the biggest party of the summer brought countless spectacular moments to cherish, but nothing probably matches the insane pops Knight received as he scored the win, eliminating Seamus.

Not only that, his fan favorite status was virtually backed up as well with fans recognising WWE’s official tweet of Knight’s victory with a record-breaking number of likes.
