Both Lesnar and Nakamura are two of the greatest performers of this generation. Despite that, Nakamura could not stop holding his grudge against Lesnar. Nakamura would once reveal the vital reason behind his hatred of Lesnar.

He stated that he did not like Lesnar’s attitude, and personality. The King of Strong Style said, ” I felt like this was too much; he was seriously scoffing at us. Lesnar won the championship and took the belt home. I told Simon if the company didn’t get its s**t in order, that belt was definitely going to get nicked.”

After Lesnar defeated Nakamura, he got hold of the World title and took it home with him to the USA. It also turned out to be Lesnar’s final match. Owing to financial reasons, NJPW was unable to pay Lesnar what they had promised, and he chose to walk out of the promotion.

Nakamura further said, “I didn’t like his personality, you know? He might have made a real mark in UFC, but he didn’t even seem to notice the audience booing. I was like, ‘Oh this guy’s a heel to the core’.”

Nakamura and Lesnar failed to impress the fans with their bout, and it will forever remain etched in history as one of the poorest matches for both of them.
