As the Royal Rumble is on the horizon, a record achieved by Seth Rollins and CM Punk from the past might amaze most wrestling fans. And interestingly, this was from the same event, but it takes us back to 2014. Well, in the Royal Rumble 2014, the 30-man match, Punk and Rollins were the first two entrants to begin the match.
However, this was just the beginning. Both spent the longest time inside the ring, with Punk lasting until 49 minutes and Rollins being inside the ring for 48 minutes. Interestingly, Rollins was part of the dominant faction called ‘The Sheild’ and was surprisingly eliminated by his own pal Roman Reigns.

Punk, on the other hand, was eliminated through the wicked actions of Kane. Although he was eliminated before, the ‘Big Red Machine’ shockingly pulled Punk out from the top rope and chokeslammed him on the table. Shockingly after the event, Punk parted ways from the company and it took 10 years to see him back in the WWE. And since the friction between both wrestlers is crystal clear.
CM Punk’s honest confession on Rollins’ hatred
On CM Punk’s second appearance on Raw after his return, Seth Rollins bluntly uttered that he hates the latter. Recently, the Chicago native had an answer to it. While talking on Jackie Redmond’s NHL Show, Punk said, ‘‘We’re very similar. The difference is, I can talk about my career & not have to mention him. He can’t talk about his career without mentioning me. I understand where he’s coming from. You know, I understand.”
