The Bloodline Saga has kept the WWE Universe hooked for a really long time. The faction led by Roman Reigns made major waves when it started and brought great reviews and ratings. The addition of Solo Sikoa into the main roster from NXT was perhaps the best move pulled off by the company. He has solidified himself as the ‘Enforcer’ of The Bloodline and has continued to impress. But is there a bigger role for him down the line?

There is a chance that Solo Sikoa can take over Roman Reigns’ legacy. Reigns is more or less working a part time schedule for WWE and once he starts winding down, WWE may look to replace his position on the card. In fact, there’s an even higher chance that WWE is already planning it.

John Cena has recently come back to WWE after a really long while, with a longer and heavier contract. Cena straightaway entered a feud with the most popular faction of WWE, but, his fight has now zeroed down to Solo Sikoa. The Usos now have branched out as their own separate rivalry, leaving Cena and Sikoa alone. Thus, the WWE has placed Sikoa against the biggest WWE superstar in the last 20 years.

Solo Sikoa and John Cena squared off in a tag team match at Fastlane, where Sikoa and Jimmy Uso suffered a defeat. But now WWE has moved forward with the idea of a singles bout between The Bloodline’s enforcer and Cena. WWE offering this match to Sikoa over anyone else brands him as a future prospect they definitely want to see at the top.

While his John Cena feud is a new development, Sikoa has been reaping loads of benefits right from his shift to the main roster, especially enjoying regular main event attention even at premium live events.

The constant main event attention bestowed on Sikoa

Solo Sikoa is still a fresh wrestler, considering his main roster debut happened in 2022 at Clash at the Castle in Wales, UK. Despite this, he has been enjoying the main event attention time and again for far too long. While he initially was a background star in the shadow of Roman Reigns as his enforcer, with Reigns in and out of the picture, he has shined more.

He has made appearances both with and without Jimmy Uso and has always delivered both inside and outside the ring. The latest PLE of Fastlane had him starring as a primary main event wrestler alongside John Cena, LA Knight, and Jimmy Uso. While this was a special arrangement over the usual title match, Sikoa has actually been filling the void left by Roman Reigns.

He had the strength to match the caliber of Cena while partnering with a tag team specialist like Jimmy Uso. Moreover, the WWE has also showcased his strength by making him win almost every single match he has fought.

The invincibility to completely and perfectly replace Roman Reigns

Solo Sikoa also has another rare feat in his track record that separates him from almost the entire WWE roster. Sikoa has lost just three matches since his main roster debut. His status of invincibility matches that of Reigns, who hasn’t been defeated in a long time as well. Moreover, while Reigns’ credit also goes to his inactive status, Sikoa has achieved this while being active. This privilege hasn’t been given to even the most popular WWE superstars.

Not only did Sikoa make a jump from the mid-card, but he also has the status to back his elevated star power. Besides, many people, including pro wrestling analyst David Meltzer, think that Sikoa will definitely take charge from Reigns. According to him, “They’re saving Solo for Roman, whenever that day comes.” These things give Solo Sikoa a solid profile to replace Roman Reigns and take over his legacy.
