After Triple H assumed control of the WWE creative, he brought back many superstars who were given the axe during the global pandemic due to budget cuts. And one of them was the faction, Hit Row. The faction returned to WWE TV on August 12, 2022. However, despite being reinstated, the company seemingly has no plans for Hit Row lately.

In fact, according to a new report making the rounds, Hit Row’s Top Dolla is having backstage heat with the creative team. Top Dolla recently received a lot of flak for botching a suicide dive. Subsequently, he was written off WWE programming for weeks.

Hit Row has failed to rile up the crowd ever since their return to WWE. In fact, after Top Dolla’s botch, he is referred to as “Flop Dolla” by Michael Cole. In addition, last week on SmackDown, Sheamus made quick work of Top Dolla. After hitting the Brogue Kick, Sheamus picked up the win in under 10 seconds.

This has led to the speculation that Top Dolla is being buried by the creative team due to a reported heat.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that Top Dolla may have heat with the creative team considering the way he is being booked as of late. Meltzer also stated that Top Dolla is not very popular with some people.

He added, “Yeah, well, I mean the whole thing is that he is not very popular with some people, and when I watched the way they did that finish, it’s like ‘man, whatever you said, you’ve got some enemies on the creative team.’ Because this was the burial of all burials.”

Although Top Dolla is struggling to have success, he has been trained by the WWE Hall of Famer, The Undertaker. At this point, Hit Row has been underwhelmingly booked. We will have to wait and see if Top Dolla’s luck changes going forward.

But, another source has confirmed that creative team has no heat with Top Dolla.

The creative team reportedly has no heat with Top Dolla

Amidst the rumors about Top Dolla’s precarious standing in WWE, another report has come to light. The report confirms that the creative team has no heat with Top Dolla. While it’s true that Top Dolla had been taken off the TV for weeks, it may simply be because the creative team has nothing planned for Hit Row for now.

Steve Carrier of Ringside News reports that a member of the WWE creative team denied having any heat with Top Dolla. Moreover, the source states that Hit Row hasn’t been utilized much due to not having any storylines planned out for them.

The report read, “There is an idea out there that Hit Row has heat with WWE creative,” Carrier wrote on Twitter. “We have heard back from our own sources and have been able to confirm that there is no heat with Top Dolla, or any other Hit Row member. There simply isn’t anything for them to do at this time.”

Only time will reveal what the future holds for Top Dolla and Hit Row in WWE.
